The director behind Snow White and the Huntsman is reimagining the James O'Barr graphic novel The Crow, and the first look images have just dropped.

Starring Bill Skarsgård, FKA twigs, and Danny Huston, The Crow follows soulmates Eric Draven and Shelly Webster, who are brutally murdered when the demons of Shelly's dark past catch up with them.

Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

This isn't the first time Barr's graphic novel will get a big screen depiction, however, as, in 1994, Alex Proyas directed Brandon Lee and Sofia Shinas in his own version.

Now Lionsgate gets behind the 2024 Sanders version with Zach Baylin and William Schneider penning the script.

The first images from the film show Skarsgård and FKA twigs in character, with Skarsgård sporting some new tattoos.
