Bikepacking Through Oregon on Fat Tires

Cleaning Up
We packed the van for home with mixed emotions. We hadn’t done the ride we’d planned, and there’s always a bittersweet feeling to letting go of ambition. But once we’d accepted that our original plan was beyond our grasp, we’d made the most of our opportunities. We caught a fish, drank a few beers, swapped a lot of stories, and rode our bikes somewhere we’d never been before. We’d escaped the world for a time and carved out a space for ourselves, far beyond the entanglements of modern life—and there’s something to be said for that. (Media Platforms Design Team)
