Big Time Rush fans are keeping their hopes up for a new reunion, especially after their recent video on Instagram.

The former boy band got back together for a special acoustic performance of their song "Worldwide". Unfortunately, due to social distancing, the guys had to record their vocals at home. Carlos PenaVega is in Maui, Hawaii, while Logan Henderson is in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kendall Schmidt recorded his vocals in Sherman Oaks, California, while James Maslow was only a few minutes away in Venice Beach.

While they ended up being separated for the recording, the end result was certainly worth it for fans who have been hoping for a reunion from the group for a long time.

"These challenging times around the world have made us want to connect with all of you so much. They have also made us want to stay connected with each other. We got inspired to record and sing together again seeing how many smiles our check in video created weeks back," they wrote on Instagram. "We spent some time recently recording one of our favorite songs (safely apart) and wanted to share it with you all as our small way of saying thank you. We are sending love to all of you WORLDWIDE. Please take care of yourselves, take care of each other, pls take care of all of your fellow neighbors. We’ll be thinking about you."

The group previously hinted at some special reunion a few weeks ago when they posted a video together. With the special "Worldwide" release, now fans are hoping that this is just the beginning of something bigger.
