Big Lots Is Selling Amazing Fake Christmas Trees That Look Just Like Balsam Hill's—For a Quarter of the Price

This year, how about we all put our Christmas trees up, um, tomorrow? Here, here! Well, we've got some excellent news for those of you in the market for a spectacular artificial Christmas tree.
The discount retailer Big Lots sells amazing artificial Christmas trees that rival the look of Balsam Hill's—at only 25% of the cost. Take, for instance, Balsam Hills' 12-foot pre-lit Christmas tree for $1,599 as compared to Big Lots' 12-foot pre-lit Christmas tree for $400. Or how about these two pre-lit trees: Balsam Hill's seven-foot frosted sugar pine Christmas tree for $649 versus Big Lots' seven-foot flocked tree for $220? And, oh, how we adore this seven-and-a-half foot pre-lit Christmas tree with clear lights for $150 from Big Lots pitted against Balsam Hill's pre-lit seven-foot Saratoga Spruce Christmas tree for $699.
“Christmas trees at Big Lots are an incredible value with quality similar to that of Balsam Hill. We’re using the same high-end materials and lighting as well as the same factories—it doesn’t get much closer than that!" comments Ashley Patton, Senior Buyer at Big Lots, who notes that this year customers are becoming increasingly interested in flocked trees covered in faux snow along with trees featuring realistic-looking branches and those covered with lots of lights. "It’s our goal to be on par with our competitors, but at a better value that our customers will love," says Patton.
Two more great Christmas trees to consider from Big Lots that offer a Balsam Hill look are the seven-and-a-half foot Deer Valley Tree ($240) and the seven-and-a-half foot Vancouver Flocked Tree ($220).
In terms of holiday crazes this year, Patton also adds that "the farmhouse trend reigns supreme...From the iconic red truck to galvanized metal accents and buffalo plaids, this trend will keep the holidays cheerful and cozy."
