The Big Little Lies Cast Emotionally React to the Finale on Instagram
The Emmy Award-winning HBO series Big Little Lies, based off of the 2014 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, came to a dramatic end Sunday.
On social media, the star-studded cast—Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley, just to name a couple—shared their goodbyes to the show.
As the era of the Emmy Award–winning HBO series Big Little Lies came to a dramatic close on Sunday, the star-studded cast took to social media to publicly wish the show Godspeed. There’s certainly a lot to say goodbye to: the series’ provoking and candid glimpses of upper-middle-class motherhood, the realities of marriage, the endurance of female-led narratives, and Meryl Streep’s wig.
Although there is no official confirmation on whether or not there will be a Season 3 in store for the Monterey Five, it’s very unlikely.
