'Big Brother' Announces Fan-Favorite Player for "Reindeer Games" Spin-Off

Big Brother just concluded its longest season ever, spanning a whopping 100 days. But we're not done with the veteran reality series for the year, as CBS has rolled out a new Big Brother Reindeer Games holiday special, a six-episode, two-week event beginning December 11.
The first two returning houseguests for the spin-off series have already been announced in season 25's Cameron Hardin and season 24 winner Taylor Hale. But Parade.com can exclusively reveal the third alum returning for some holiday fun and a shot at $100,000: Season 12 and 14 fan favorite Britney Haynes.

Britney first graced our screens back in 2010. Her sarcasm and one-liners in the Diary Room are the stuff of legend even to this day, with chestnuts like, "I lost my dignity on a slippery wiener," and "You're a homosapien, Brendon. You're not a wizard!" That comedy turned to tragedy, though, when she made it all the way to the final four houseguests, only to be told that she had been deceived the whole season and was surrounded by members of the secret "Brigade" alliance. They revealed their deception to her and she was evicted in fourth place. But she went home with a nice consolation prize: The title of America's Favorite Houseguest.
Britney then appeared two years later as part of the coaches twist on Big Brother 14. She lived alongside a group of new houseguests and drafted a team, including brother of Survivor legend Russell Hantz in Willie Hantz. Eventually, Britney entered the game as a full-fledged player, and had set herself up well to make a deep run again. Unfortunately, she was the victim of one of the biggest moves of all time in "Dan's Funeral." Fellow returnee Dan Gheesling threw the longest Hail Mary in the show's history, and schemed and acted his way into getting Britney on the block. She was evicted again in eighth place.
Of course, Britney has also appeared more recently than season 14. Alongside Danielle Reyes and Frankie Grande, she snuck into the Big Brother 25 house at the beginning and end of the season to use a "time laser" to rewrite history. Unfortunately, their doings opened up the "BB Multiverse," including the holiday universe that Reindeer Games takes place in. The spin-off has Britney reaping what she sowed, going from intruder to player once more.
Reindeer Games will involve nine previous Big Brother houseguests--including one from the recently-wrapped season 25--receiving an invitation from Santa to compete in a brand-new game. Over six installments, they'll play in a variety of holiday-themed competitions. Each episode features three challenges, culminating in “Santa’s Showdown” which determines which player goes home at the end of that episode. The competition will winnow until four Big Brother legends remain. In the finale, one player will walk away with Santa's blessing, and a $100,000 grand prize to boot.
