‘Big Bang Theory’ Wedding Album: Get the Exclusive Look Inside Sheldon and Amy’s Nuptials

Wedding season has kicked off with a Big Bang… Theory. One of television’s most beloved couples, Dr. Sheldon Cooper and Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler, will finally exchange vows on the season 11 finale of The Big Bang Theory airing Thursday, May 10, a moment longtime fans of the show have eagerly awaited since the science-adoring couple dubbed “Shamy” first matched online.

Despite a sometimes-tumultuous love story, the couple (played by Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons) and their respective families will be on hand to fete the nuptials in an episode entitled “The Bow Tie Asymmetry.” The Knot gets the exclusive first look at the couple’s wedding album, featuring a first-time appearance from the parents of bride (portrayed by Kathy Bates and Teller) as well as returning star Laurie Metcalf, who plays Sheldon’s mother on the show.

Showrunners have also teased a special guest appearance from legendary Star Wars franchise actor Mark Hamill. And what would a wedding be without the presence of loving siblings? Actor Jerry O’Connell will reprise his role as Sheldon’s big brother George, along with Courtney Henggeler, who will fulfill her duties as the groom’s pregnant sister. Of course show standouts like Johnny Galecki (Leonard), Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) and more will be at the ceremony for moral support.
