The Bidens' White House Christmas Decor Is Here

Tis the season—the White House Christmas Decor season, of course. Every year, it's tradition for the First Lady to decorate the White House in festive decor during the holiday season—and Dr. Jill Biden's merry selections are now on full display.

In a series of social media posts this morning, Dr. Biden shared photos of numerous rooms in the People's House that are now decked out in opulent holiday decor, including the Blue Room, which boasts a lit-up Christmas tree covered in white doves that bear the name of each of the 50 states. The first tree arrived just last week, shortly before Thanksgiving.

"Inspired by the acts of kindness and experiences that lifted our spirits this year, decorated rooms in the White House reflect the Gifts from the Heart that unite us all: faith, family, friendship, the arts, learning, nature, gratitude, service, community, peace, and unity," the First Lady captioned one of her tweets about this year's White House Christmas decor.

Another image depicts red-and-green striped stockings hanging on an ornate fireplace, complete with ruby red ornaments, golden leaves, and emerald green garland, covered in string lights.

Additionally, the famed gingerbread White House is now part of a village, with a grocery store, school, warehouse, post office, hospital, fire department, police precinct, and gas station. This was done in tribute to the many frontline workers of the pandemic.

The First Lady followed the unveiling of the festive decor by reading her book, Don’t Forget, God Bless our Troops, to a group of second graders in front of a tree decorated with framed photos. Next to her, red-and-green stockings hang from a mantel laden with a festive garland. We're in the holiday spirit already!
