Bianca Lawson's been playing a teenager on screen since 1993 and it's really no surprise why. With roles in Save The Last Dance, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Saved By The Bell and Pretty Little Liars, the 41-year-old, blessed with youthful skin, had us all fooled.

Now, when it comes to how she’s managed to do this, her fans have their theories. From her locating the fountain of youth to unicorn tears, they’re convinced Bianca’s complexion can only be thanks to some mystical secret no one else can get their hands on. And while Bianca hasn’t technically refuted these supernatural hunches, she has opened up about the more attainable ways she gets her skin looking so good. Instead of regular facials or falling into trendy beauty traps, the actress mostly credits holy grail drugstore products she's been using for years.

"I’ve been using the same products since high school. I feel like the more you leave yourself alone, the better. When people are constantly changing products and doing what the ‘new’ thing is—it drives your skin, hair and body crazy. Stick with what’s working and listen to your body,” Bianca told Vibe.

Sounds easy enough, right? Ahead, everything Bianca Lawson does to look like that.

She isn't swayed by price tags.

"I absolutely do not think expensive equals better. Usually, it’s actually the opposite," Bianca told FabFitFun. "I honestly have better results with the less expensive stuff—the simpler the better." The Queen Sugar star is all about drugstore finds including Cetaphil's Gentle Skin Cleanser and Cetaphil cream—which she keeps handy in her purse to treat her "really sensitive and dry skin."

Water is a must.

Like many celebs, Bianca chalks up her beautiful skin to staying hydrated. "I’ve always been a water drinker. My mom never had soda and stuff in the house," she told Vibe. “Water makes a big difference in skin health,” Rachel Nazarian, MD, a board-certified dermatologist at the Schweiger Dermatology Group in New York City and an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital previously told Women's Health. “Without adequate water intake, skin appears duller, and wrinkles and pores more prominent." In other words, it's a biggie when it comes to anti-aging. Water can also balance out the amount oil in the skin which helps keeps pores from getting clogged and blemishes from making an appearence.

She keeps stress on the low.

To keep herself looking and feeling youthful, Bianca focuses on enjoying life and dedicating herself to her passion, according to Black Girl Nerds. More than skincare products, she believes youth is a mentality that can affect how you look. For Bianca, that means "living a healthy lifestyle, staying out of trouble, and keeping things very simple." She doesn't have any vices to report, she keeps away from coffee, sticks to tea, natural sweeteners, and fills up on greek yogurt for her protein fix, according to FabFitFun. Taking care of her body, engaging in life, and feeling fulfilled is a must.

When makeup isn't optional, Bianca keeps it light and always removes it.

"Interestingly, makeup artists used to put way more makeup on me when I was younger," Bianca told FabFitFun. "Now I actually wear far less makeup, which I prefer. I hate having tons of makeup on, and I pretty much never wear make-up in my day to day life." But when she does, Bianca says she uses Neutrogena Oil-free Eye Makeup Remover to breakdown the products she's worn all day long.

“If you don’t remove your makeup at night, everything that’s been sitting on your face all day long can contaminate your skin and clog your pores,” makeup artist Adriana Aude previously told Women's Health. The process also wipes away free radicals that can speed up aging.

She's also....just kinda lucky.

On more than one occasion, Bianca's discussed having great genes. The rest of her family–which includes mother actress Denise Gordy and father actor Richard Lawson– looking this good too is a "huge factor," she told Vibe.
