Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour was a can't-miss event this year, and now, a film documenting behind the scenes of the show and the concert itself is in theaters. But fans around the world are wondering: When will Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé be on streaming?

There are no announced plans yet for the Renaissance concert film to be on any streaming platform, but there's a very good chance that after its theatrical run, it will be available on demand and hopefully streaming.

This isn't Beyoncé's first documentary—she's had a few notable films over the years including Netflix's Homecoming (2019), which gave fans a look into her headlining performance at Coachella in 2018, Life is But a Dream (2013), which was an intimate portrait of the star as she became a mother, and Live at Roseland: Elements of 4 (2011) which went behind the scenes of her four night residency at Roseland Ballroom.

However, none of those premiered in theaters, so there's no example to follow. Rather, Beyoncé's Renaissance tour film could follow the same schedule as Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film, as they both made distribution deals directly with AMC theaters. The Eras Tour movie premiered on October 13, and will be available to rent on December 13, two months after its release. In that case, we can hope Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will be available to watch from the comfort of the couch sometime in early 2024, but we'll update this as soon as we learn more.
