Beyoncé Wears Long Braid Hairstyle at On The Run II Show

There's no doubt that Beyoncé commands any and every situation she's in (because, Beyoncé), but at her July 30 concert in Philadelphia there was one thing that may have stole the show: Her epic, thigh-grazing braid.

As Refinery29 reported, the singer queen of everything took to the stage during her On The Run II tour to literally whip her hair back and forth in a braid that appears to truly defy gravity. Hairstylist Neal Farinah fastened the plait to the top of her crown, and even at such an impressive heigh its lengths stretched down below her shoulders. "THE ICONIC BRAID IS BACK," Neal captioned a photo of the look. And on a video of Queen Bey swinging it back and forth, he wrote, "THE BRAID THAT HAS IT’S OWN HAIR-OGRAPHY."

According to one concert attendee, not every part of said "hair-ography" was smooth sailing. At one point during the show, her braid reportedly got caught in her earring, but because this is Beyoncé we're talking about, she didn't miss a beat. "Beyoncé is such a perfectionist and lets NOTHING stop her lol yesterday at the concert her long /*ss braid got caught in her earring and it took her like 5 mins to take it out so after that song during outfit change you best to believe her braid was cut like 8 inches 😩😭👏🏼," tweeted one fan. Photos from the show appear to confirm this, since her braid at the beginning of the show extended to her waist, and by the end, hit just past her shoulders.

So basically, she rocked two statement-making hair looks in the course of one show, and unsurprisingly, Twitter was buzzing with fans who simply couldn't get enough. "Beyoncé's braid deserves its own tour," wrote one fan. "Beyoncé’s braid is a better dancer than me," agreed another (#same).

Considering there are rumors flying that Bey will be appearing on Vogue's September cover for the second time since 2015 (which will mark her fourth cover ever), we have one question: Will her braid be making an appearance too? Please say yes.
