Beyoncé was spotted shopping at Target, and maybe she really is just like us

Imagine going to Target to pick up a Who What Wear blazer or a $5 towel set and running into Beyoncé. Hey, it could happen! And it just did. Beyoncé recently took Blue Ivy on a Target run in San Clemente, California. According to Bustle, Bey, Blue, Bey’s mom Tina Knowles, and one of the twins were in attendance.

Allow that sentence to conjure the most beautiful image in your mind: Young Blue Ivy sitting in the shopping cart as her mom, one of the newborn twins, and Ms. Tina peruse the $1 section. How lovely. We would like to see receipts, and by that we mean literal receipts so we can go buy everything that Beyoncé bought at Target. What do you think she was buying? Perhaps some chic home decor items? Maybe she was stocking up on Target gift cards. Hey, you never know.

Of course, people who saw Bey took a ton of photos, so it’s not like their shopping trip was entirely peaceful. But also, what do you expect? People love Beyoncé and literally bow down to her. So how would they ever be able to contain themselves if they spotted her out in the wild? And at Target, no less? We probably wouldn’t be able to resist snapping a quick pic either.

Now we know the true price of fame. It’s not being able to shop at a beloved heavenly Target without being followed by super creepers or turned into Twitter fodder. Well, we’ll try not to feel ~too~ bad for Bey, Jay, and their millions of dollars.
