Beyoncé Shines in Bejeweled Balmain Minidress at ‘Renaissance’ Concert Film After Party

Beyoncé continues to leave a silver streak while celebrating the premiere of her “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” attending the movie’s after party on Thursday in London wearing a bejeweled Balmain minidress.

The singer’s sparkling number was not only fully bejeweled in silver crystals, but featured a sculptural piece on her chest with a blue jewel in the center that mirrored a glamorous brooch. Paired with black opera gloves, Beyoncé’s look was designed by Olivier Rousteing for Balmain’s pre-fall 2023 collection.

“Olivier Rousteing homed in on the late 1960s and early 1970s, yielding an appealing and groovy collection,” WWD reported on the collection in January.

Beyoncé has looked to Balmain and its creative director Rousteing for numerous occasions, with this one being the latest. Among the several ensembles worn by the singer on her “Renaissance World Tour” was a silver-armored Balmain bodysuit, which put a couture-spin on robotic-themed dressing.

Beyoncé also collaborated with Rousteing in May on a couture collection inspired by her “Renaissance” album, where each look pointed to a particular song from her 16-track project.

“When I think how the year started, dreaming about the ‘Renaissance’ tour, creating with you the Renaissance couture and seeing the magic happening through the year with the ‘Renaissance’ tour. It feels [like] a dream come true,” Rousteing captioned an Instagram post on Thursday about Beyoncé’s latest Balmain look.

“Renaissance: A Flim by Beyoncé” saw a global release in AMC theaters on Friday. The documentary project follows the singer on her “Renaissance” world tour, which wrapped in October. On the same day of the concert film’s premiere, Beyoncé surprise released the new single “My House” on Apple Music and other music streaming platforms.
