Queens recognize queens. That’s the statement that Queen Bey just made to the world yet again. Yesterday, Beyoncé shared pics of her Lil’ Kim Halloween costumes. The photos, which show off an impressive collection of Lil’ Kim’s most iconic outfits, are on both her website and her social media accounts. We knew that Beyoncé and Jay Z wore Lil’ Kim and Notorious B.I.G. costumes to Kelly Rowland’s Halloween party. But we didn’t know that Bey created four other Halloween looks too.

“Hip hop would not be the same without our original Queen B,” Bey wrote on her website. She dubbed the photo series “Halloween 2017: Lil’ Kim Appreciation,” and we’re completely on board. Let’s walk through these five looks in chronological order, shall we?

Beyoncé’s first costume, which featured red leather pants, a white Oxford shirt, and Chanel suspenders, is a mirror image of Lil’ Kim’s look in Missy Elliott’s 1997 music video for “The Rain.” Next up was a lime green ensemble complete with a fishnet jumpsuit, inspired by a look from Lil’ Kim’s No Way Out tour from the same year. Then came the see-through jumpsuit trimmed with fur and the bright blonde wig, Lil’ Kim’s outfit at the 1999 Source Hip-Hop Music Awards. Next was an all-blue look, which featured a blue slip dress and blue fur coat, a recreation of Lil’ Kim’s Today’s Black Woman magazine shoot in 2000. Finally, Bey nailed Lil’ Kim’s photo from a Manhattan File magazine shoot in 2001.

Feast your eyes on Beyoncé’s “The Rain” outfit.
