Beyoncé Shared a Heartfelt Tribute to Kobe Bryant Following His Tragic Death

Beyoncé took to Instagram to share her deepest condolences for Kobe Bryant fans as well as his surviving family.

The superstar posted a heartfelt message on her personal account on Wednesday night (January 29) alongside a photo of the legendary basketball player following his tragic death.

"I will continue to diligently pray for your Queens," Beyoncé captioned a photo of Bryant kissing daughter Gianna on her head during a basketball game. "You are deeply missed beloved Kobe."

The pop star also posted two additional photos of the father and daughter duo, with a throwback yearbook photo of Kobe and a snap of a smiling Gianna.

Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and seven others lost their lives in a helicopter crash on Sunday (January 26). Beyoncé's touching message followed Bryant's wife Vanessa's own Instagram response to her family's loss as she reached out to thank the fans and celebrities who had expressed their love for the late sports superstar.

"My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time," she wrote. "Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri," she wrote, alongside a family photo. "We are also devastated for the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday, and we share in their grief intimately."

"I’m not sure what our lives hold beyond today, and it’s impossible to imagine life without them," Bryant continued. "But we wake up each day, trying to keep pushing because Kobe, and our baby girl, Gigi, are shining on us to light the way. Our love for them is endless — and that’s to say, immeasurable. I just wish I could hug them, kiss them and bless them. Have them here with us, forever."
