Nicki Minaj is finally ready to share more details about her first child—a baby boy!

After receiving a series of well-wishes from Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Winnie Harlow, and more, the rapper (whose full name is Onika Maraj) took to Instagram to gush about her son—although she still has not revealed his name.

“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time,” she captioned photos of the notes on October 15. “It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world. 🥳🧸🎁🎈”

Beyoncé, who signed her handwritten letter with “B,” wrote, “Onika, Welcome to motherhood. God bless you and your family.” Kimye also sent a sweet note that said, “Congrats! We love you.”

This is the first time Minaj has confirmed reports from late September that she gave birth to her first child, with husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty. The rapper announced her pregnancy in July 2020 with an exceedingly on-brand photo shoot. “#Preggers 💛,” she wrote in the caption.

“Ten years from now, I will have two children, unless my husband wants three,” she told Cosmopolitan in 2015 about motherhood. “I will be into my fitness a lot more, I will stop yo-yo dieting, and I'll be a housewife with careers that I can run from home. I want to be able to cook for my children, bake cookies for them, and watch them grow up. I just want to be mommy. Take them to school, go to the parent-teacher conference, help them with their homework, and put their work on the refrigerator.”

She also told Complex in 2014, “If I'm done with my fifth album and I don't have a child by then, no matter how much money I have, I would be disappointed, as a woman, because I feel like I was put here to be a mother.”
