  • Beyoncé just revealed in a new YouTube video exactly how much she weighed when starting rehearsals for Coachella.

  • The singer famously went on a strict vegan diet to prepare for her performance after giving birth to twins earlier in the year.

  • Beyoncé followed the 22 Days Nutrition Plan to get in shape.

Beyoncé Knowles completely blew people away last year when she delivered a jaw-dropping performance at Coachella just months after having her twins, Rumi and Sir. Beyoncé looked amazing, and she’s now sharing a little more insight in a new YouTube video into how that all happened.

“Good morning, it’s 5 a.m., and this is day one of rehearsals for Coachella,” she says in the beginning of the video as she steps on a scale. “Every woman’s nightmare… this is my weight, 175. Long way to go.”

Beyoncé shared in the video that she’s “back on the stage” after having her babies, but that “I was a woman that felt like my body was not mine.”

The video shows Beyoncé practicing as exercise physiologist Marco Borges and founder of 22 Days Nutrition says, “We’re going to go 100 precent plant-based from now through Coachella.”

Beyoncé followed the 22-day plan for 44 days before Coachella to really ramp herself up. She’s now partnered up with Borges to offer her fans special access to the 22 Days Meal Planner, which is part of the 22 Days Nutrition plan.

“We know the power of vegetables,” Borges says in video. “Plant-based is really about eliminating all of the overly processed foods that don’t do us any good anyways. When you’re eating plant-based you will definitely have more energy.”

Beyoncé can be seen rehearsing, working out, eating her veggies, and spending time with her family. “It’s time to work, so I have to get in that zone, it’s like a different headspace,” she said. “Me getting the weight off was so much easier than getting back in shape and my body feeling comfortable.”

Wait—what is 22 Days Nutrition again?

The 22 Days Nutrition plan (which Beyoncé and Jay-Z developed along with Borges) is a vegan diet that’s a little…intense. “In order for me to meet my goals, I’m limiting myself to no bread, no carbs, no sugar, no dairy, no meat, no fish, no alcohol … I’m hungry,” Beyoncé said in her Netflix documentary, Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé.

FYI, here's what made Beyoncé's Coachella performance so historic:

The idea behind the program is that it takes 21 days to break a habit, according to the 22 Days Nutrition website. On the 22nd day of the plan, the thought is that followers will realize they’ve formed new, healthier eating habits.

The line focuses on protein bars, protein powders, and a meal planner, which helps people decide what to eat, along with sharing recipes.

Again, Beyoncé is giving her fans access right now, but otherwise, you’ll pay $14 a month or $99 a year for the meal planner. Protein powders cost about $25 for 20 ounces and their plant-based protein bars are $27 for a 12-pack.

The bars and powders aren't free right now, but the meal planner is so...there's really no reason not to check it out.
