Tina Knowles-Lawson is offering fans a glimpse into daughter Beyoncé's creative process for Renaissance.

The proud mom and businesswoman talked about Beyoncé's seventh studio album—her first in six years—during a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight at HollyRod Foundation's 2022 DesignCare Gala.

"I’m a fan too. I’m very, very excited," she told the outlet. "I just posted recently that I really miss her singing, and I do. I’m as excited as everybody else. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it."

Knowles-Lawson added that Beyoncé has been hard at work in the studio to deliver Renaissance, which is due for release on July 29. "She put two years of love into this. Many, many nights [she spent] all night working," she continued. "I can’t wait for the world to hear it."

Speaking of talented family members, Knowles-Lawson opened up about her 10-year-old granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter. "She’s just blossoming and turning into her mother," she said.

Beyoncé officially confirmed the arrival of her next album with a subtle social media cue. The icon updated her Instagram bio to confirm both the album's title and its release date. Spotify additionally confirmed the details, writing in a tweet, "The countdown has officially begun. Beyoncé's back July 29 #RENAISSANCE."

Beyoncé previously hinted at her album's name during an interview for Harper's BAZAAR's September 2021 cover story.

"With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again," she said. "I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible."
