Beyoncé's Kids Stole the Show in Her 'Making the Gift' Special
Beyoncé gave the surprise gift of her Making The Gift special last night, a documentary that captured her creative process recording and arranging her The Lion King: The Gift album that she released with the film. In it, the singer included rare glimpses of her family—her oldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter in action (Blue recorded and has a writing credit on "Brown Skin Girl") along with her two-year-old twins Sir and Rumi Carter at home.
Two family group shots were part of the special, including Jay-Z with Bey and the kids:

Beyoncé also included footage from her and Blue's recording session for "Brown Skin Girl." If you thought Blue's vocals were impressive in the song, you should hear them isolated in the studio. She's a real prodigy:

Bey poignantly spoke in the special about a mother's connection to her children. "When you're a mother, there's a love that you experience with your kids that's deeper than anything you can imagine," she said, via Entertainment Tonight. "The love is beyond Earth and beyond time and space, and it's a connection that will be constant."
She also discussed how much the reaction to "Brown Skin Girl" meant to her. "When I see parents singing 'Brown Skin Girl' to their daughters, making them proud of themselves, just like I do with my daughter, that's what I make music for," she said.
