For an early Valentine's Day date night with husband Jay-Z, Beyoncé sported a stunning brown checkered suit and a major matching wide-brimmed hat from EnaGancio. Although she does not follow any other accounts on Instagram, Bey still uses the social media site as her visual style diary–and last night was no exception. While other celebrities posted shout-outs to their loved ones, shared wise words about relationships, and made fun of their boos, Beyoncé instead posted a few snapshots of her fit.

These three images gave us a closer look at her full ensemble styled by Zerina Akers, who also worked with Beyoncé on her Lemonade visual album back in 2016. To add a contrasting pop of color to her semi-neutral outfit, Bey rocked a purple croc-effect handle bag from Dubai-based designer L'Afshar, which complemented her gorgeous tonal smokey eye and nude lipstick. Her long blonde hair was let down in loose romantic curls.

For the special occasion, Mrs. Carter, a Houston native, wore an ensemble from H-Town-based EnaGancio, who designs "African print inspired clothing for modern elegant women who are a shade sophisticated," according to its Etsy page. Stylist Akers pointed out on Instagram that Bey's look highlighted "African designers on and off the continent."

EnaGancio elatedly shared multiple posts of Beyoncé in the look on the brand's official Instagram. The first two photos' captions read: "When music & fashion meets ,the offspring is LOVE ❤️ What a valentine gift 💝!!!Thanks Queen B @beyonce. #styledbyzerina @zerinaakers nothing beats the Golden stylist 🙌🏼🙌🏼"

A third picture read: "Beyond speechless! Thank you QUEEN B @beyonce ! Thank you @zerinaakers #htown#enagancio 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝"

Beyoncé's style evolution has come a long way since the early days when her mother Tina Knowles first designed clothes for Destiny's Child. With her successful transition from girl group member to solo artist, Beyoncé has turned into an international style icon. While plenty of designers would love to dress her-she favors Peter Dundas, Tom Ford, and Givenchy, amongst others-her support of a local designer shows that despite her level of fame, Beyoncé is open to embracing both established and emerging creatives.

In December, she wore a slew of pieces and accessories by African designers and flaunted the looks on Instagram. "Thank you to the talented African designers who kept me feeling fresh," she wrote. "Y’all go so hard. 🐝"
