Beyoncé Just Beat the Record for the Most Grammys Won

Ring the alarm because Beyoncé just made history! The queen herself has officially broken the record for the most Grammys won at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

With her 33rd win for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance, Beyoncé took over the record, which she had previously tied earlier that night.

Unlike her previous award, which Trevor Noah announced that she wasn't able to accept in person due to being stuff in traffic (ya know, just LA things!), Beyoncé was at the big show and walked up to the stage to give her iconic speech.

Queen Bey was emotional and even paused as the crowd gave her the standing ovation that she deserves!

"Thank you so much. I'm trying not to be too emotional and I'm trying to just receive this night. I wanna thank God for protecting me. Thank you, God. I like to thank my uncle Johnny who is not here, but he's here in spirit. I like to thank my parents—my father, my mother—for loving me and pushing me," she said. "I like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching. I'd like to thank the queer community for your love and for inventing this genre. God bless you! Thank you so much to the Grammys! Thank you!"

Beyoncé still has a chance to take her record even further as she is still up for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. With 88 total nominations, she has also tied with her husband, Jay-Z, for the most nominations of all time!

Congrats to Beyoncé for being, well, Beyoncé!
