Three years after that infamous elevator incident, Beyoncé and Jay-Z put the past behind them, as they instigated a spontaneous photo-op in a lift for the rapper’s 48th birthday.

On Monday night, the lovebirds proved that their marriage is stronger than ever with a symbolic call for unity shortly after the “Empire State Of Mind” hitmaker admitted to cheating on his wife of nine years in an interview with The New York Times.

As the sartorially-savvy Mr. and Mrs. Carter began the evening’s festivities with a special showing of Wonder Wheel, the couple put a positive spin on 2014’s scandal with an impromptu photo shoot.

While leaving the theater by elevator, the burgundy suit-clad rapper reportedly called to photographers, “Hurry up, come get it.” A beaming Bey worked it for the camera, dressed to the nines in a blue-and-white print dress that featured the slogan “Unity."

Highlighting their shared penchant for bold accessories, JAY-Z paired his suit with a string of gold chains, while the mom of three wowed in an oversized navy fur coat, cat-eye sunglasses, a purple crocodile bag, and sporty black ankle-wrap heels (also emblazoned with "Unity").

A swipe of fuchsia lipstick and natural curls provided the flawless finishing touches to the songstress’s ensemble.

We're happy to see Bey and Jay put on a fashionably united front!
