Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Blue Ivy Share a Golden Fashion Moment at the Wearable Art Gala

The Carter family knows how to make an entrance and they did just that at the Wearable Art gala.

The Internet may be abuzz with reports of Blue Ivy’s burgeoning art collection, but she wasn’t the only member of the Carter family to make a splash this past weekend. Beyoncé and Jay-Z were the hosts of the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles this past Saturday, an annual event thrown by Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Lawson. The husband and wife duo shut down the red carpet when they arrived with their daughter in coordinating metallic looks. Beyoncé looked every part the pop diva in a custom gold sequin-covered Falguni & Shane Peacock gown with a dramatic train. Jay-Z was at her side in a dapper Dior Homme suit adorned with patches and Blue sported a Metropolis-worthy headpiece. Indeed the family took the night’s theme into exciting territory.

By now we’re used to seeing Beyoncé dripping in gold, but the extravagant feel of her gown and coordinating Jean Paul Gaultier earrings was particularly impactful given the complementary styling of her husband and daughter. With the cuteness of Blue Ivy’s Annakiki bow-covered bronze dress providing a mini-me fashion moment and the subtlety of Jay’s suit letting Beyoncé’s vibrant outfit take center stage, the three scored a memorable fashion win.
