Beyoncé Hints at Jay-Z and Solange's Elevator Fight in "Cozy"

If you're in need of a new self-love anthem, look no further than Beyoncé's "Cozy."
As the second track off her highly-anticipated album Renaissance, which dropped today, the energetic song celebrates Beyoncé's confidence and pride in herself. Singing in the chorus, she says that she feels "comfortable in my skin / cozy with who I am" and "I love myself, goddamn / Cozy, cozy."
She also praises her sister, Solange, for sharing that same confidence. As she sings in the pre-chorus:

In particular, the line, "Might I suggest you don't fuck with my sis," is seemingly hinting at Solange's infamous elevator fight with Jay-Z during the 2014 Met gala, according to an annotation on Genius.
At the time, leaked surveillance footage showed Solange confronting and then hitting Jay-Z while Beyoncé stands next to them. The incident led many to speculate that the rapper had cheated on Bey, and the couple later recounted and confirmed their experiences of this infidelity in their respective albums, Lemonade and 4:44.
After the footage was leaked, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Solange released a joint statement. "There has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," it read, per People. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."
Bey has previously referenced the fight in another song, her 2014 remix of "Flawless," in which she sings, "But no, we escalating, up in this bitch, like elevators / Of course, sometimes shit go down / When it's a billion dollars on an elevator."
