Beyoncé's Golden Globes Gown Looks Even More Magical on Her Instagram

Beyoncé snuck into the Golden Globes ceremony last night after skipping the red carpet arrivals, which meant that we didn't get the full step-and-repeat glamour shots that would've done her dress justice. Or so we thought. Instead of posing for the press pool at the ceremony, Bey shared photos of her own on Instagram, which featured her black and gold gown in all of its glory.

For the award show to kick off all award shows, the star wore a custom Schiaparelli haute couture gown with voluminous, golden puff sleeves that rose up to her ears and arched all the way to her back. The straps formed a plunging neckline where they joined the black, body-hugging lower half of the dress. Did we mention there's a train as well?

And because Beyoncé—who was nominated for Best Original Song last night—is queen of attention to detail, she accessorized with massive chandelier earrings and sheer opera gloves, which added an elegant touch to her already luxe ensemble. (Scroll to the last photo in her slideshow.)

Regardless of what you think of her reaction to Joaquin Phoenix's Golden Globes acceptance speech, Beyoncé's look deserved a standing ovation of its own.
