Beyoncé is a vision in gold.
The Renaissance singer returned to the stage tonight with her first stage performance since February 2020, for a special set celebrating the Grand Reveal Weekend of the ultra-luxury hotel Atlantis the Royal in Dubai. Before she performed, the superstar walked the red carpet in a stunning ensemble that combined several elements of her most iconic stage and event looks.
The custom outfit by Dolce & Gabbana included a shimmering floor-length gown covered in gold sequins, composed of two breastplates touching in the middle of the chest over an open triangle cutout at the abdomen, as well as a high-waisted skirt with sheer panels at the sides. She layered the dress under an opulent gold-foiled cape, worn around her elbows and featuring a circular train.
Bey accessorized the look with an array of jewelry by Messika, including a pair of gold and diamond pendant earrings, while carrying a gold rectangular clutch. Her dark-blonde hair was styled in sleek waves with a middle part, and her makeup included matching shimmery eye shadow and a nude-pink lip.
Though the superstar's performance was a private affair, per TMZ, several audience-recorded clips have made their way to social media. One ten-second clip posted on Twitter shows that Bey's 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter joined the star onstage for a special duet of their song "Brown Skin Girl."
In the on-stage clip, Beyoncé wears an ornate yellow gown with an attached feather backdrop, while Blue dressed in a glittering, long-sleeved gown in a bright shade of red, holding hands with her mother.
