Ok guys, unless you've been living under a rock, you know Beyoncé dropped a documentary on Netflix this week. And if you're a Beyoncé fan, or were at all interested in Coachella 2018, you might also recall that Bey arrived at that performance in insanely great shape despite having given birth to twins less than a year prior. In Homecoming, she gets super honest about how difficult that whole process really was-so much so that she says she'll never push herself that hard again.

You should obviously watch the doc in full, but I'll give you a summary of what she shares diet-wise, especially since nutritionists warn against following suit. To achieve her pre-Coachella weight loss goals-she says she weighed 218 pounds the day she gave birth to Rumi and Sir and worried she'd never be the same physically-Beyoncé cut bread, carbs, sugar, dairy, meat, fish, and alcohol..."and I'm hungry," she says in the doc.

That's essentially eating a nearly-vegan and Whole30 diet, which sounds 100 percent miserable. She was also working out regularly through dance rehearsals, stairs, cycling, weight training-and those are just the activities mentioned or shown in Homecoming.

"I definitely pushed myself further than I knew I could," she says. "And I learned a very valuable lesson. I will never, never push myself that far again."

While you can probably surmise on your own that kind of diet is not sustainable, a nutritionist told InStyle it's also not good for your metabolism in the long term. While you will lose weight initially, giving up the nutrients that come with some of those foods can mess with your immune system, hormone development, and stress management.

The point being, depriving yourself of all the food can lead to disordered eating and general crankiness. So while the mantra "I am Beyoncé, always" is 9 times out of 10 a solid way to live, this is that one time you're better off not following her lead.
