Beyoncé is kicking off 38 with a solid start. The singer, whose birthday isn’t until Wednesday, got an early start to her celebration at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia over the weekend. Beyoncé stood on the side of the stage to watch Lizzo’s performance, which did not go unnoticed by the “Juice” singer.

“Swipe to lose your fucking mind,” she wrote on Instagram showing a close-up of a smiling Beyoncé watching the show.

On Saturday night, Beyoncé was surprised with a cake by her husband, Jay Z, at the festival while a crowd sang “Happy Birthday” to her. While she played coy at first, ducking behind the cake, she ended up dancing and basking in the pre-birthday glow.

The notoriously private star recently sat down for her first on-camera interview in six years in honor of her mother, Tina Lawson’s, annual Wearable Art Gala back in June. She took the opportunity to praise her mother and give a nod to up-and-coming black artists.

“My mother and Richard [Lawson, Tina’s husband] believe that art is a representation of our history,” she continued. “Right now there’s a shift, in these incredibly talented emerging black artists getting their due. I love so many great African-American artists, and I’m just so excited that these young black artists are getting their due.”

While Beyoncé may not be busy doing interviews, that doesn’t mean she’s been sitting around doing nothing. This summer she kept a full schedule to promote her latest film, The Lion King, even meeting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the film’s London premiere. During their brief meeting on the red carpet, Beyoncé was heard telling the couple, “The baby is so beautiful. We love you guys.”
