It finally happened: Beyoncé is the most awarded artist in Grammy history. At tonight's ceremony in Los Angeles, she earned her 32nd Grammy Award, breaking a record previously held by the late composer Georg Solti, who had 31 career trophies.

Prior to this achievement, she was tied with Quincy Jones with 28 Grammys. The news comes just months after she and husband Jay-Z became the most-nominated artists in Grammy history, with 88 nods each.

Beyoncé's earned won multiple awards during the 2023 ceremony and the pre-show, thanks to her highly celebrated 2022 album Renaissance. She triumphed in the following categories: Best Dance/Electronic Music Album (Renaissance), Best R&B Song (“Cuff It”), Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Plastic Off The Sofa”), and Best Dance/Electronic Recording (“Break My Soul”).
