Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Were Literal Queens With Their Matching Gold Hairstyles

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy looked like literal royalty with matching gold hairstyles at the 2nd annual Wearable Art Gala.

There's no doubt that Beyoncé and Blue Ivy are beauty icons all on their own, but when their powers are combined, the mother/daughter pair is seriously unstoppable. The two often coordinate their looks, solidifying the fact that Blue is absolutely Bey's mini-me.

For proof, look no further than Saturday, March 17, when Bey and Blue showed up at the 2nd annual Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles in matching gold ensembles — and even their hairstyles were perfectly in sync. Beyoncé sported a thin gold headband that rested atop a crisp center part. Her blonde hair fell straight down her shoulders, with her baby hairs sculpted in perfect curls against her forehead. Similarly, Blue wore a gold headpiece that covered her entire head, making her look like a literal tiny queen. Fortunately, Beyoncé blessed all of us with several photos of the mother/daughter fashion moment on her Instagram page.

Their outfits screamed "royalty" as well. Bey opted for a gold gown by Falguni and Shane Peacock that boasted a mermaid silhouette and geometric cutouts along the bodice. The bottom of the dress pooled outwards in a puffy skirt, making her look like a gorgeous metallic flower.

The designers explained to WWD that they were inspired by Nubian royal culture, adding: "The metallic cutouts are placed strategically to mimic the shape of armor, as worn by the Nubian armies.... Between the metallic cutouts to the gold dramatic train, we attained an artistic statement while respecting the Nubian inspiration." Likewise, Blue's dress had golden spaghetti straps and a full skirt, which gathered in shimmery layers like confetti.

Of course, this isn't the first time that Bey and Blue turned up to an event with perfectly coordinated styles. Who could forget their July 2016 photoshoot in matching Gucci dresses, or their angelic looks at the 2016 VMAs? It's pretty much a fact: Beyoncé and Blue Ivy continue to take mother/daughter fashion to the next level — and we can't wait to see what they do next.
