One of the world’s most iconic hotels—the Beverly Hills Hotel—recently underwent a makeover, and design lovers are sure to be enamored with the new look, which features CW Stockwell’s iconic Martinique wallpaper.

Although many recognize Martinique for its appearance on the walls of the hotel, it now graces another part of this historic site: the newly redesigned poolside cabanas.

Martinique is, of course, best known for its classic shade of green, but it appears on the cabanas in a peppy shade of pink, making for a very fitting backdrop for the Pink Palace, as the hotel is sometimes called. New York-based interior design firm Champalimaud Design redesigned all 11 cabanas.

“There is a particularly strong culture around the swimming pool and cabanas” of the Beverly Hills Hotel, said Alexandra Champalimaud, the founder and president of Champalimaud Design, in a release. “The cabanas hold prime seats to a mesmerizing show of beautiful people wading in clusters, chatting in groups as laughter permeates the air. You sit with your family, surrounded by beauty and laughter, and you watch as the amazing show goes on.”

This marks the first time Martinique has been installed at the Beverly Hills Hotel since the 1940s, when this famed wallpaper was enlisted to decorate the hotel's Fountain Coffee Room and hallways.

In addition to the iconic Martinique wallpaper—which you can buy here—the redesigned cabanas also boast other design elements that echo old Hollywood glamour: pink-and-white striped awnings, terrazzo coffee tables, and wicker chairs.
