Betty Crocker Sells New Cookie Cups Mixes That Make Cookies Filled With Fudge And Frosting
Some of the best foods come from combining two of your favorite dishes or flavors into one. Corn dogs, brookies, peanut butter cups...you get what I'm saying. In an unsuspecting combination, Betty Crocker released mixes for "cookie cups" which essentially look like a mash-up of cookies and cupcakes in one cute dessert.
Baking from scratch is one thing but when you need something sweet ASAP a boxed mix does the trick just fine. Although you may feel the need to follow the exact directions on the box, there is always room to choose your own adventure and add extra flavor or toppings as you choose like Nutella, peanut butter, or extra chocolate chips.
The cookie cups come in three different mix options including a chocolate chip fudge, chocolate fudge, or birthday cake. Chocolate chip and chocolate both come with a fudgy filling that will add richness to the center of the treat and birthday cake comes with white frosting and rainbow sprinkles. The finished product won't be unlike classic thumbprint cookies but feature fudge or frosting as the center instead of fruit preserves.
Call me crazy, but I'm not a huge fan of the frosting to cake ratio on most cupcakes so these cookie cups are more my style.
