Bethesda Teases Gameplay for 'Indiana Jones and the Great Circle'

Bethesda is offering fans a look at gameplay in its forthcoming title, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The game is set between the events of 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark and 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the game sees Jones attempt to prevent nefarious groups from getting to an artifact called The Great Circle to stop them from accessing its powers.

Bethesda is publishing the first-person action title, while MachineGames is developing it in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was first announced in January 2021 and over two years later, its gameplay was first teased at Microsoft’s recent Developer Direct event.

In the trailer, developers showcase the game’s immersive open world with some of the locations in the game including the Egyptian pyramids and the Himalayan mountains. It appears to be extremely hyperealistic, from the leaves on a tree to decrepit ruins. It also emphasizes the puzzle-solving aspect of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, alongside Jones scaling buildings, cracking his whip and fighting his foes.
