Bethenny Frankel on Her Shakespearean Return to "The Real Housewives," Pajama-Gate & Her Skinnygirl Empire

Don’t mess with Bethenny Frankel. Just ask Yahoo Style’s Nick Axelrod, who sat down with the Real Housewife to talk the meaning behind ‘Skinnygirl’ her dramatic return to The Real Housewives of New York City, and more in this episode of “I Yahoo’d Myself.”

Shocked that “Bethenny Frankel Pajamas” was one of the first things that popped up in the search bar, Bethenny deadpanned, “Why don’t I have a line of pajamas? I need to make a line of pajamas!” As for that controversy (last year she posted an Instagram of herself dressed in her 4-year-old daughter’s sleepwear), the star explained: “Meghan McCain said it was ‘violently irresponsible’ for me to put on my daughter’s pajamas, which was just a joke… I looked like a crazy person!”

The Skinnygirl founder also clarified a few things about her expanding empire (what’s next? bikinis? dog clothes?) and new book, I Suck At Relationships So You Don’t Have To, plus why she decided to head back to Real Housewives, despite the negative vibes surrounding her departure. “People think I went back to the Housewives because I was desperate and had nothing else to do, but it feels fresh. And I can go home again.” What about the drama? “People’s personal journeys and emotional things are way deeper. One of the head honchos at Bravo said it’s ‘Shakespearean.’“
