Bethenny Frankel has a six-pack—and it's not just for show. The Shark Tank and Real Housewives of New York star shared an Instagram where she's doing a lil paddle board yoga, and her core strength is no joke.
In the photo, Frankel is performing a Sirsasana (a.k.a. a yoga headstand) in a baby blue bikini...on a paddle board...in the ocean. "Who is feeling a little upside down in 2020?" she captioned the post.
Although the Skinnygirl entrepreneur looks like she's calmly floating on the water, Stand Up Paddle (SUP) yoga is seriously challenging. Because floating paddle boards create an unstable platform, SUP yoga increases the core stability needed to achieve each pose, like Frankel's headstand.
When a fan asked Frankel how long she's been practicing yoga, she replied "years." The reality star's followers were totally impressed with her core strength. "Wow, just wow! Stunning and so impressive!! ❤️👏👏👏" a follower commented, while another fan wrote, "The body of a 20 year old!"
Take a look at her athleticism for yourself:
After going through a divorce, losing someone she loved, and being hospitalized for her severe fish allergy, Frankel admitted in 2018 that her grief led to her weight loss. She also shared on her Instagram Stories that she'd had a hard time putting her health first, Bravo reported.
"Even though I'm thin, I'm not in great shape because I really just do yoga whenever I can and beach walk," she wrote. "But I haven't made being super healthy and feeling good and having a positive attitude about it a priority."
In the summer of 2019, she decided to kick herself into shape with a "summer reboot," which involved a diet and other lifestyle changes. She began to eat healthier, adding more whole foods into her diet like avocado toast and gazpacho.
The former RHONY star, who is known for her pasta nights, seems to be opting for some lower carb options in the new year. This week, she shared a photo of where she's cooking up some butternut squash pasta to her Instagram Story, captioning it "Healthy day! I guess it's a new year, different me."
Frankel recently shared another beach photo (hello again, abs!) with a lengthy caption that reflected on what the star endured last year:
"I needed to take a minute to settle, to process and to find some balance... after so much turmoil... divorce, death, departure," she wrote. "It’s really important to find that quiet centered place within one’s self to reflect on what is really important... and it constantly evolves.
She also thanked her fans for their continued support while she was recovering and healing. "I am forever grateful that you accept me for who I am," she wrote. "No matter where you are in your process, find the quiet to embrace this time and not feel low if your life isn’t wrapped in a perfect Tiffany bow in this moment. Breathe and exhale."
