With the future of rap group Migos unclear amid the tragic death of member Takeoff, its surviving members Quavo and Offset treated fans to a surprise tribute performance honoring the late rapper at the 2023 BET Awards.

The tribute occurred after a commercial break, with Quavo and Offset appearing onstage in the dark as a sample of Takeoff's part in "Hotel Lobby" (the duet between Quavo and Takeoff) played, while an image of a spaceship was unveiled in the backdrop, symbolizing the late groupmate. The crowd went wild as the now-duo launched into their hit "Bad & Boujee."

"BET! Do it for Take!," they shouted during the performance.

Fans were emotional and overjoyed to see Migos back together, sharing their reactions on social media.

This onstage reunion is a big deal, considering Quavo and Offset were rumored to be feuding after Takeoff's passing. TMZ reported in February that the rappers had an altercation backstage at the Grammys after Quavo allegedly wouldn't allow Offset to be included in a tribute to the late Migos member.

The remaining Migos members teased their reconciliation six days before their BET Awards performance, posing in front of a mural of Takeoff, wearing t-shirts bearing his face. Quavo captioned the Instagram post, "ALL for TAKE!"

Though Cardi B was not at the BET Awards, she shared a video on her Instagram Story of herself watching her husband Offset and Quavo's surprise set. "Soooo proud of them," she wrote in the clip.

Takeoff died on November 1, 2022 after being shot during an altercation in Houston.
