We did a lot of sweating in these sunglasses to make sure they not only stay in place while running and do what they were built to do (block the sun), but also look awesome in the process. These are five of the best women’s sunglasses that strike the perfect balance between fashionable and functional.

Consider these your do everything sunglasses. If you’re looking for sport sunglasses that don’t look like sport sunglasses and won’t cost an arm and a leg (because, frankly, you’re going to lose them anyway and you only have so many arms and legs), then Goodr sunglasses are unmatched. No, they’re not the most durable, but they are certainly of a better quality than the pair you’d buy at the gas station for the same price. Among all the Goodr pairs we tried on, we picked these polarized Mint Julep Electroshocks because the sleek black wayfarer style goes with literally everything. Pit Viper Miami Nights | $69
We’ve got three thoughts when it comes to Pit Viper, the eyewear brand that was founded in 2012: 1) When did sunglass brands get so snarky? 2) Let’s not go back to the time before snark. 3) We get why we’ve been seeing them all over the track–they hold up. Not only do these look gnarly (is my age showing?), but the easy adjustability of the temples make them a well-fitted (they’re available in a narrow or wide fit) and suitable sunblocking companion while you run.

Roka Phantom Titanium Aviators | $290
For the record (and there are polaroids to prove it), our brand director was wearing aviators before Tom Cruise debuted in the first “Top Gun” movie. So when Roka launched their own version, we were already sold. However, they really have taken aviators to a whole new level with their Phantom sunnies for athletes. Ridiculously lightweight with their signature geko rubber on the arms for a no-slip fit, you completely forget they are there. They are available in prescription and regular lenses. The only critique is that they run a little large for a female face.

Adidas Sport Sunglasses | $178
We love a frame that feels like nothing. That is to say, these Adidas sport sunglasses are supremely lightweight. The mirror shield lenses fit the trend of the time, while still clearly being constructed for athletes (function over fashion, am I right?). That looks like a vented frame, slip-resistant temple and nose piece, and an absorbant foam brow piece. These are staying put no matter how sweaty your face gets.

Shimano Technium Sunglasses | $105
While technically these are sunglasses for cycling, they are too cool not to bring over to running. We love the retro look on sunglasses this summer and the Technium check our love of the single-lens 1970s vibe partnered with a tech capacity that is cutting edge. They are not the darkest of lenses, so might not work for some on super bright days. However, if you pair them with a running cap, they work just fine. They also offer full UV protection. The Technium are light as a feather, don’t move, and have vents that are seamless with the design, so they never, ever fog.
