I was an early adopter of social media, getting on FaceBook during my first years of college as soon as it was released. It transformed social interactions, allowed us to share more of ourselves, and give a glimpse into what was important in our lives. Social media has transformed how a lot of the world receives information, and how they allow the outworld world to see them. It's truly been a transitory medium for communication in the modern age. Working in wine for coming up two decades has afforded me the ability to meet incredibly talented people all over the world, and social media's creation of tight knit communities inspires creativity from any and everywhere.
