Materia Prima - Located in the Koukaki neighborhood, this newcomer on the Athens wine scene is the brainchild of Owner Michalis Papatsibas. Nightly, the team pays respect to "raw material" - from where the name is taken, to showcase wine and food in its most pure sense. Their list of 40 wines by-the-glass features natural wine producers from Greece and around the world: "Natural, artisanal, raw, authentic, minimal intervention: all of these and more are words we use to describe these 'anarchist' wines.
