Donald Trump’s onetime campaign chairman Paul Manafort is in federal court for bank and tax fraud charges, and we’re hearing once again about his lavish spending. You’ll remember around indictment time we learned about some of Manafort’s wild purchases; the trial has resurfaced discussion of spending habits that would rival some of the Real Housewives, including home renovations (yesterday featured an in-depth explanation of what a pergola was). A regular haunt for Manafort was the House of Bijan in Beverly Hills, which bills itself as “the world’s most expensive store.” And from 2010 and 2014, we learned from one New York menswear seller that Manafort spent $929,000 on suits alone.

Photos of some of the wardrobe have been released as part of the discovery, and the Internet was quick to seize on how, um, rather inexpensive the togs looked despite their price tags (admittedly, the lighting doesn’t help).
