I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — I’m a sneaker person through and through. And though I wouldn’t consider myself stubborn per se, comfy shoes are the one thing I will not play around with. Living in the Big Apple, you naturally walk thousands of steps, maybe even before 9 a.m., so practical, easy-on-your-feet footwear is a total must. So, whenever I go out, I gravitate toward my sneakers — that is, until I tried a pair of kitten heels that I swear might be more comfortable than my go-to white kicks. No joke.
Heels are often associated with being uncomfortable. When you’re walking on a teeny-tiny heel, most with little support in the footbed, it’s obvious your feet are going to hurt after a few hours (or even minutes). But after my sister tried a pair of Franco Sarto heels and wore them to walk 30 blocks immediately out of the box, I was intrigued. “They’re so comfortable,” she said. “Sure, sure…,” I skeptically replied, until I realized after we got to our final destination that I, the sneaker-wearer, was the one with foot pain, and not my sister.

Obviously, I was sold on the style, so I promptly had to try a pair myself. And don’t get me wrong: I loved the shoe the second my sister unpacked it. The cognac leather was simply *chef’s kiss* with a pointed-toe front that leaned so trendy (it’s my current favorite silhouette to pair with wide-leg pants). Not to mention the humble, 1.75-inch kitten heel offered just the right amount of height without making me, a 5-foot-8-inch woman feel overly tall. But all of that isn’t even the best part…
When I say I’ve never in my 29 years worn a pair of heels that is this comfortable, I’m not exaggerating. The minute I slipped into them, it felt like I was walking on clouds thanks to the built-in ergonomic insoles with ultra-comfy padding that support the areas of your feet that typically get the most sore when wearing heels. These heels are so cushy, and unlike anything I’ve seen in high heels before — let’s just say, it was love at first wear. And I’m about to say something mind-blowing: These Franco Sarto heels are more comfortable than many of my sneakers. I’ve worn them for nine-hour work days, long walks around the city, and date night — and at the end of it all, my feet didn’t even hurt a little bit.
These heels are incredibly versatile and come in an array of colors — given the fact I love mine so much, I am seriously considering buying three more pairs. My sister is thinking the same, too. Now, I just need to get my mom a pair!
