Best sushi: Try these Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese restaurants on the Treasure Coast

Sushi is a Japanese dish consisting of prepared vinegared rice and a variety of ingredients such as vegetables and any meat, but most commonly seafood, with nori. It can also be made vegetarian. Although styles of sushi differ, one key ingredient is "sushi rice." Often, soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi are served with it.

International Sushi Day is June 18. It was founded in 2009 to motivate people to eat more of one of the most popular international dishes.
