Adidas’ refreshing basketball turn is set to continue with new colorways for the AE 1 and Harden Vol. 8, while the brand’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” collaboration may be one of its greatest plays with IP yet. March will also see the launch of Kyrie Irving’s highly anticipated new shoe from Anta, while Nike has cooked up intriguing new releases for its athletes in Sabrina Ionescu and Rayssa Leal.

Cult-favorite Japanese label Needles brings its signature shade to Asics’ Gel-NYC in subtle fashion. This marks just the second time the two parties have collaborated, as they first joined forces last fall.

New Balance’s 610 trail shoe was transformed into a slip-on for an Aminé collaboration and special-edition from the brand’s Tokyo Design Studio. Now, it gets its first in-line release with a colorway consisting predominantly of neutral tones.

Air Jordan 5 “Olive”

Anta Kai 1 “Artist on the Court”

Adidas Harden Vol. 8 “Luxury Green”

After selling out in its first two colorways, the Harden Vol. 8 takes on “Luxury Green” for its third and should continue its hot streak. This edition also marks the most simple arrangement yet, eschewing a third color for the portion of the outsole that climbs up this midsole.

Rayssa Leal x Nike SB Dunk Low

Rayssa Leal, the 16-year-old skateboarding phenom from Brazil, is getting her first Dunk Low to call her own. If her success doesn’t betray her age — Leal won a silver medal at the 2020 Olympics — the beads as lace dubraes may do the trick.

Originally released as part of the Japan-exclusive CO.JP series that helped inspired SB Dunks, the Dunk Low “Plum” is getting a rerelease for just the second time ever.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Adidas Superstar “Shelltoe”

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and Adidas celebrate the 40th anniversary of the comic through a Superstar that takes its “Shelltoe” nickname literally. That feature has been reconfigured to look like an actual turtle shell, while the rest of the shoe is flush with additional “TMNT” detailing.

Nike Air Max 1 “Royal Blue”

Ahead of Air Max day, which Nike celebrates each year on March 26, the sneaker that started it all returns in its original colorway with the original “Big Bubble” used for the first few months the Air Max 1 was on the market. Its this sort of esoteric lore that sneakerheads go crazy for.
