The 40-room and 14-suite room hotel has a deco chic vibe and a newly renovated spa, La Tigre. This is a calm of oasis set along a real beach that screams La Dolce Vita. Here, the hotel's General Manager, Danièle Garcelon tells T&C what sets Monte Carlo Beach apart from other properties along the Riviera and what guests will find surprising about Monaco.
What do you consider the "best" room at the hotel? Why?
All our rooms are breathtaking but our Diamond Suite offers two bedrooms, a sitting area, and a gorgeous roof-terrace with a private jacuzzi as well as sea and mountain views. Guests also receive VIP treatment with our guest relations manager, including assistance packing and unpacking baggage, a hotel limousine at their disposal and complimentary access to the Casino de Monte-Carlo and the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo wellness complex.

It starts at $6,170 per night.
How would you describe the guests and vibe at the hotel?
The Monte-Carlo Beach hotel is a modern take on Monaco’s glamorous history, this seaside resort offers visitors a uniquely Mediterranean take on luxury – guests who gravitate to this property adore the history and the relaxed, chic vibe of the hotel. What is one thing about Monaco that you think first-time visitors will find surprising?
Monaco is a destination where visitors can enjoy multiple types of unique experiences in an incredibly small area, from gastronomy to relaxing. The Monte-Carlo Beach Club offers a wide range of activities such as the yoga classes and the treatments at the spa Le Tigre Monte-Carlo, as well as several waters ports including Flyboards.

Tell us a little bit about the history of the hotel and how you are bringing that heritage into the 21st century.
The Monte-Carlo Beach was originally built in 1929 and even though the hotel was completely renovated in 2009 by India Mahdavi, the magic atmosphere of the 1930’s remains. The property both honors its illustrious past and is forward-thinking. Monte-Carlo is committed to the environment and guest well-being--we are making strides toward becoming a 100 percent organic property. We’ve also updated our take on well-being, our spa Le Tigre Monte-Carlo offers much more than the traditional resort spa experience, with a wide array of offerings and partnerships with like-minded brands like the natural beauty leader Tata Harper.
