Tonight, the royal family hosted the annual reception for members of the Diplomatic Corps at Buckingham Palace. It was a white tie event, which means Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton wore tiaras and their finest gowns, and King Charles and Prince William were in tuxedos.
Per the Royal Collection Trust, "Diplomatic Receptions are the largest annual receptions at Buckingham Palace, with a guest list numbering around 1,000. The invitation list is coordinated by the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps and invitations are sent to all the ambassadors and high commissioners at the foreign missions in London, as well as past Prime Ministers, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York and other public figures."

The King and Queen, and Prince and Princess of Wales, posed for a portrait before the evening began.
Queen Camilla wore the "Girls of Great Britain and Ireland" tiara, one of Queen Elizabeth's favorites.
The Princess of Wales wore her go-to Lover's Knot tiara and a pink sequin gown—the same outfit she wore to the Jordanian Royal Wedding.
It's Kate's 16th time wearing a tiara since marrying Prince William in 2011.

Kate also wore Queen Elizabeth's Greville Chandelier Earrings.
