Overcooked! is one of those games that starts off friendly and ends up feeling like an episode of The Bear is playing out in your living room. The goal is simple: work as a team to cook dishes for your restaurant. Oh, if only it were that easy! As burners catch fire, rats steal your food, and dishes go unwashed, you'll soon delegate tasks like a special ops mission.

NBA 2K24 - Kobe Bryant Edition

In NBA 2K24, you can play through the entire history of the league, from long before the Michael Jordan era to the era of the modern NBA. A special Kobe Bryant edition also celebrates the late star with additional content highlighting Bryant's career.

Fortnite

If you haven't heard of Fortnite by now, I don't know what to tell you. It's either your cup of tea or it's not. Though the third-person shooter didn't create the formula for multiplayer battle royale, it certainly made the process so easy that anyone can join in. If you're being honest, you're probably here on this list because you've already played so much Fortnite that your brain is screaming for you to try something else.

This is probably the most if you know, you know game on this list. In TowerFall, you compete against your friends in—for lack of a better way to describe it!—a platforming archery battle. Trust us on this one. TowerFall is worth far more than its $15 price tag.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is here as a catch-all for the Call of Duty franchise, which—you're lying if you disagree—you've encountered at some point in your gaming career. Me? I'm a zombies guy.

Broforce

Rambro? Brommando? Brominator? You get the gist. In Broforce, you take control of a spoofed '80s action hero—and embark on the platforming adventure of your life. The campaign is funny as all hell, especially for you '80s children out there.

Mortal Kombat 1

Don't get confused, Mortal Kombat 1 is the latest game. I know, it's strange, but it's actually a completely revamped version of the game that started it all over 30 years ago. With new animations and more fluid game play, Mortal Kombat 1 makes for one of the best fighting games in the last decade.
