We love H&M for its wide selection of affordable clothes for the whole family, and that, of course, includes expecting mothers. Right now there is a pretty limited selection of maternity swim options to choose from (most of which are plain black), but we expect there will be more one- and two-piece styles released throughout the summer. In the meantime, this adorable scallop-trim suit more than fits the bill, with ruching along the bust and belly to expand with you as the baby grows and there are removeable pads in the top for extra coverage.

Cache Coeur has lots of adorable swimsuits for new mamas, but this particular style is our favorite both for the bright, colorful print and for the adjustable straps and bust. Truth be told, our only gripe is that you can’t buy the top and bottom in separate sizes.

In addition to the vibrant pink-on-pink floral above, there is also a watercolor-inspired print, black-and-white buds and leopard spots, as well as a few solid neutrals too. And while some reviewers found themselves sizing up to better fit their bums/thighs, everyone agreed that the top was incredibly comfortable and supportive thanks to the trio of built-in padding, adjustable straps and a tie at the back for bonus support that’s also chic. And although this is not a maternity-specific suit, the stretchy fabric and innovative ruched design along the bodice has plenty of room to accommodate your pregnancy. (That said, we do recommend sizing up one size if you’re hoping to wear this cutie in your third trimester.) The back is more low-cut, though a series of stretchy straps provide both coverage and support, and the shelf-bra bust has removeable pads.

13. Hunza G Seersucker Swimsuit

OK, so this Hunza G bestseller is not, in fact, a maternity-specific design. However, the fabric is super stretchy and can adjust to fit your changing body at every stage of pregnancy and even into the fourth trimester and beyond. In fact, this one-piece comes in just one size, with the promise that the brand’s signature Seamless Crinkle Technology will stretch to fit a UK 6 through 16 (roughly a US 2 through 12) without becoming sheer or digging in. The only caveat is that the material isn’t super supportive and there is no internal structure to speak of (i.e., no cups or shelf bra). But as one new mom told us, “This suit is just so comfortable. It was a dream being able to pull it on without any struggle or jumping or tugging so I could just focus on relaxing by the water and enjoying myself.” In fact, she loved that unbeatable comfort so much, she bought this suit in three colors.
