The holiday season might be all wrapped up, but already, there’s another celebration to be had: the Lunar New Year. Commemorating the first new moon of the lunar calendar, this special occasion results in plenty of festivities in East and Southeast Asian cultures—featuring firecrackers, confetti, and more.
