The Best Hair & Makeup Looks of the 2024 Oscars
The Oscars are a huge night for movies—but they’re an even bigger night for beauty. The Oscars have brought us some incredible makeup and hair looks in past years, which means even more exciting beauty looks at the 2024 Oscars. From Anya Taylor-Joy’s long blonde locks to Xochitl Gomez’s old Hollywood inspired bob, the 2024 Oscars have brought us the glamorous hair and makeup looks we’ve been craving.
In past years, the Oscars has always delivered when it comes to makeup looks. At the 2023 Oscars, stunning beauty looks were plentiful. Halle Bailey wore a Tiffany blue Dolce & Gabbana dress, and her makeup, also Tiffany blue, complimented it perfectly. Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh wore beautifully smoky eye makeup that was picture-perfect. Not to mention, Florence Pugh wore an incredibly chic updo with warm eyeshadow to make her eyes pop.
At the Golden Globes this year, Jennifer Lopez stunned everyone with her voluminous curls and Rosamund Pike with her avant-garde black lace veil. Amanda Seyfried, like Halle Bailey, matched her deep purple eye makeup to her dress. Even the less colorful makeup looks were beautiful and stars like Natalie Portman had gorgeous looks that enhanced their natural beauty.
And at the 2024 Oscars, we were not disappointed with the beauty looks. The stars hit the carpet with voluminous hair and winged eyeliner sharp enough to cut someone.

The best makeup look when you’re as beautiful as Greta Lee? A simplistic one. Greta Lee’s 2024 Oscars beauty look harps on her natural beauty and compliments her contrasting black and white dress. Paired with a slicked-back updo, what’s not to love?
