Here's Where 'The White Lotus' Season 3 Will Film

We know White Lotus is coming back for a third season, but what hotel will it film at?

"The first season highlighted money, and then the second season is sex. I think the third season will be a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality," Mike White said in following The White Lotus season two finale. "It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus."

"Eastern religion" refers to religion that originated in Asia—including Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Confucianism, and more. It was soon confirmed that the third season will film in Thailand, specifically, Bloomberg reports, at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui and the Anantara Mai Khao Villas Phuket.

According to Bloomberg, "One executive who was personally involved in the deal says the cast of Season 3—including Parker Posey, Carrie Coon and Jason Isaacs—will spend about three months shooting at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui starting in February. One plotline features some cast members visiting temples in Phuket, where they’ll stay at another hotel, the same person says. According to other sources, that hotel will be the Anantara Mai Khao Villas Phuket, where the reservations calendar is blocked off for several weeks during the nonpeak travel months of April and May. In Bangkok, HBO has further broken its loyalty with the Four Seasons in favor of a more authentically Thai-looking property, as yet unidentified, says a source involved in the negotiations."

The first season filmed at the Four Seasons Maui, and the second season filmed a Four Seasons Hotel in Taormina, and both hotels saw major bursts to their bookings following the airing of the show.

The White Lotus season three won't premiere until sometime in 2025, but White has already teased "it's going to be longer, bigger, crazier." He added, "I don’t know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that’s a good thing…I’m super excited about the content of the season."

So far, the announced cast includes Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Tayme Thapthimthong, Carrie Coon, Miloš Biković, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Aimee Lou Wood.
